Patrick Chetcuti joined FCT in 1992 and was instrumental in launching title insurance and FCT in Canada. Since that time, he has played a pivotal role in the development and evolution of FCT. In 2004 Pat was appointed as President and Chief Operating Officer after continuing to lead FCT's growth in revenue to in excess of $300 Million in 2007.

In July 2011 Pat passed on his duties as Chief Operating Officer and continues as President, focusing on developing the longer term strategic direction for FCT including the identification of acquisition opportunities that align with business objectives and evolving needs of our customers. Pat's long tenure with FCT, along with his passion for serving the customer, is demonstrated by his ability to build and nurture strong business relationships. He will continue to work with our customers to address their many and varied business challenges and opportunities.

Before joining FCT, Pat practiced law in a firm he co-founded, De Rubeis, Chetcuti LLP, based in Hamilton, Ontario.

After two years of undergraduate studies at The University of Western Ontario, he graduated from The University of Windsor's Faculty of Law in 1979 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1981.
